Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre
A great pick for kids (and adults) of all ages. With interactive experiences, guided tours of the space telescope, and regular showings of Visions of the Night Sky Exhibition you’ll find plenty to keep yourselves occupied.
Once you’ve had fun learning about space, the telescope, playing with the parabolic telescopes and everything else, head to the café for a bite to eat. Don’t forget to pop into the gift shop for some out-of-this-world (sorry) momentos.
You’ll be over the moon (again, sorry) with the Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre.
Nixons Farm Shop & Play Area
A little known gem, tucked away between Handforth and Heald Green is Nixons Farm Shop. With both indoor and outdoor play areas Nixon’s is a great pick for all weathers. The outdoor area is gated providing extra peace of mind while you relax in the covered outdoor seating area.
Pick from a range of hot food, sandwiches and drinks for both adults and children. Plastic childrens cutlery is available on site too.
Visit the farm shop to pick from a selection of produce made on location, including jams, cakes, meats and more.
The Ice Cream Farm
While it’s slightly further out than other attractions, The Ice Cream Farm is well worth a visit. You’ll find a massive outdoor play area consisting of an inflatable obstacle course, a parent and child go-kart track, mini-golf, a magical outdoor playground, an indoor soft-play area, sand and water play zone, and more.
There’s also plenty of food to pick from, food stands around the park will help keep you fed while you’re on the move, there’s pizza, pasta, other hot food, and of course… ICE CREAM!!!

Oxygen Free Jumping
Fun for all ages. Oxygen trampoline park in Wilmslow is a great choice for active indoor fun. With soft play for ages 0-5, Free Jumping for ages 5+, a climbing wall and an air-bag there’s plenty for your kids to do that’ll tire them out.
When you’re ready for a snack, head over to Comfy Cafe for hot food and drink for both kids and adults.
